Cobalt bits are able to cut through the most hardened metals, including bronze, cast iron, stainless steel and titanium. They are also able to cut through weld seams. The cutting edge on our cobalt bits lasts longer than an HSS bit.

Usage Tip
Tip: Cobalt likes slow! Let the drill do the work! Use cutting fluid!
- Start the hole with a short bit of the same size or a spot drill, then switch to the 6″ bit to stay on line.
- Back the bit out often on deep holes to clear chips.
- Keep the drill straight. Side load can snap the smaller sizes.
